The fully climate controlled indoor reception at Sunset Oaks Venue offers flexible floor plans for various styles of seating & dance floor locations (seats 175 with dance floor). 3 huge chandeliers are perfect for installing greenery to elevate the aesthetic.

Perfect lighting for every single wedding photo in the Open Air Chapel (seats 175), with overhead fans for air circulating to keep your guests comfofortable. In the winter, our mechanical sides roll down to protect you and your guests from the cold winds.

The timeless black and white exterior of the reception hall is neutral and welcoming, without being too modern or too rustic.
Guests enjoy outdoor cocktail hour on the wraparound porch at Sunset Oaks facing the East Texas Sunset views.

The partially enclosed pavilion means you get the feel of the outdoors without worrying about the weather.

The moments before you walk down the aisle are just as important as the ones that come after. We created two distinct, private spaces for you and your wedding party to relax, get ready, and build the excitement for the day ahead.
Access as early as 7 a.m. (with all inclusive packages, ceremony time dependant)
Bridal Loft
A bright, airy, and photo-ready haven for you and your bridesmaids. It’s packed with thoughtful conveniences:
Vanity seating (4 stations for HMU artists) with abundant natural light and abundant mirrors for flawless hair and makeup.
Private entry, comfy seating, plenty of dress hooks, and mini-fridge keep your squad fueled and comfortable.
A gorgeous herringbone accent wall, creating the perfect built-in backdrop for your getting-ready photos.
Groom’s Den

A relaxed, comfortable hideaway for the guys to hang out and get ready.
Comfy seating, a 60” TV, and an X-Box for some pre-ceremony fun.
An attached “locker room” provides private space for changing and storing suits.
A private patio overlooking the 25-acre estate, because the guys deserve a great view, too.
If they’re not streaming a game or listening to music on the bluetooth soundbar, they’re welcome to head outside on the patio areas to play some cornhole.
And don’t worry about seeing each other in the hallway- the dressing rooms are on opposite sides of the building!

Celebrate, Dance, and Connect in a Space That’s All You
The reception is where the party happens, but it’s also where your style comes to life. Our reception hall is fully indoors with climate control. The flexible, modern farmhouse-inspired space designed to transform for your unique vision.
Capacity: Comfortably seat up to 175 guests for dinner and dancing.
Indoor-Outdoor Flow: Featuring panoramic roll-up doors, we can bring the outdoors in. On a beautiful East Texas evening, open the doors to connect the main hall to over 1,000 sq. ft. of covered patio space, complete with café lights. This gives your guests a place to mingle under the stars, enjoy cocktail hour, or simply take in the sunset views.
Furniture: Custom built farmhouse tables are on-trend and don’t require the extra expense of a linen rental. Sturdy metal crossback chairs elevate the look while the cushions make them comfy for guests. Dedicated chairs mean guests never need to move chairs between spaces.
Lighting: 3 sky-high chandeliers draw the eye up to make the space feel elegant. Florists can install greenery on the chandeliers, too. They’re dimmable so the party lighting can dim as your DJ lights up the dance floor.
The Bar (Your Built-In Party Starter): Our stylish, fully-stocked bar is located inside the main reception hall. This central location keeps the energy of the party connected, ensuring guests don’t have to go far for a drink and can get back to the dance floor quickly. It’s a seamless experience designed to keep the celebration flowing.
Your Design, Our Help: We provide the beautiful canvas; you make it yours. Your rental includes our custom-built farmhouse tables, elegant cross-back chairs, and full access to the ‘Something Borrowed’ decor closet. Our team handles the floorplan setup of tables and chairs based on your chosen floor plan, so that you can focus on the fun parts of designing your day.
