“If you are looking for a wedding venue in the East Texas area - stop looking now and book Sunset Oaks ASAP! We had our wedding there on March 19, 2022 and everything was absolutely perfect.

The venue itself is gorgeous but that’s just the beginning. Amber and her staff knocked it out of the park with the most exceptional service I could have ever dreamed of....

They also have a HUGE selection of “something borrowed” decor. When I say huge - I mean HUGE. My family and I simply picked out the decor we liked and the day of the wedding they had it all neatly set out on a cart for us to decorate. That was a HUGE money saver because we literally didn’t buy anything at all to decorate, saving us hundreds of dollars.

I don’t know of any other venue that supplies decor as well - at ZERO extra cost. And trust me, we looked at a lot. They even helped us with decorating ideas and totally put my mind at ease.

Amber’s communication is very thorough and she keeps you on track with her impeccable google spread sheets so nothing is missed. She was very responsive when I had questions and seemed genuinely excited for us a new couple. You can tell that her and the rest of her staff really do have a passion for what they’re doing and she made us feel like we were her only clients.

The day of the wedding her entire staff was on top of every single thing and helped keep the show running without missing a step. They have a beautiful expansive serene country background behind the ceremony area and they even drove us out there in a Kubota for pictures so I wouldn’t have to walk in my dress and shoes.

I definitely recommend using vendors from their “vendors we love” list as well. These are vendors other couples have used in the past at their venue which have been successful and they trust. We used Pour Me for bar service, CMB music for DJ, and Chuy’s for catering. Those vendors were all beyond impressive and professional and deserve their own separate 5-star review!

We used Alyssa Stipek for photography (which was not on their list) and oh my gosh she was AMAZING despite it being her first time shooting at that particular venue. She was also blown away by how beautiful it was and how helpful the staff were.

After the wedding the staff was scurrying and helping clean up and put everything away and basically shooed my family away (in a good way) saying they would finish up. I kid you not they had them out of there in 15 min.

I have never left a review -good or bad- for any business but I felt this business definitely needed the kudos.
