Event Insurance

Required for all events booked at Sunset Oaks Venue. Once the policy is purchased, no additional action is needed.


How it works:

  • You will receive reminders from Nuptial Risk with the link to purchase the approved policy from Event Helper.

    • Choose your wedding date and any additional rehearsal or setup days

    • Estimate your guest count (roughly 80% of invited guests)

    • Use YOUR current LEGAL name (as listed on the rental agreement- usually the Bride)

  • Sunset Oaks automatically receives a copy when you purchase via this link.

  • This policy meets all the requirements:

    • Waiver of subrogation

    • $1M coverage

    • Sunset Oaks, Inc listed as additionally insured

🚨 NOTE: Event insurance does not cover vendors, only commercial liability purchased themselves will cover any damages or injuries they cause or experience.

🚨 Caterers and DJ should provide a COI for their commercial liability insurance to info@sunsetoaksvenue.com at least 30 days prior to your event. Carrying commercial liability is a basic criteria for any professional vendor- it is industry standard for good reason. If they do not carry insurance and refuse to do so, we kindly recommend hiring someone else instead.
