Everyone said we were crazy for doing this!

Let’s start by introducing ourselves- We are Cody & Amber, the crazy couple who decided to invest in a wedding venue in the middle of a pandemic. Why on earth would we invest in a wedding venue when all weddings are BANNED? Well, that’s a great question. The answer doesn’t make us seem any less crazy, but it’s the truth: we adore the property and LOVE watching your love stories unfold.

We’re the king and queen of entertaining, so we teamed up with our favorite wedding pros to invest in a unique 25 acre piece of property tucked a couple miles outside of the Tyler TX city limits with a breathtaking modern farmhouse venue, now deemed Sunset Oaks. But it is so much more than an investment: it’s a dream come true, the place we witness love bloom, our chance to serve our community whole-heartedly, where our kids will grow and learn, and where we will grow old together as well.

Our Family

We are Mommy and Daddy to two little ones still in the house and one grown with a baby of her own. Sooo, yes, we have a toddler AND a grandson. Life is crazy, am I right?!

When we’re not working our tails off at the venue, you’ll find us at the softball fields or enjoying time outside with our neighbors!

In our relationships with our couples and clients, ultimately, you are the true stars of the show. The venue is the backdrop for the day of your dreams, and we are just here along the way to give you the tools you need to bring your vision to life at your affordable Tyler, TX wedding venue.

How have we earned SO MANY 5-star reviews from our couples?

From the beginning, we knew most wedding venues are beautiful in their own way, so we knew we had to figure out what problems needed to be solved to serve couples searching for their wedding venue. Are couples interested in a venue that’s not quite a rustic barn yet not a ballroom? What are the hassles and complaints couples have with their venue shopping process?

In our first year, we had the privilege of hosting nearly 40 weddings, so the learning came Fast and Furious! We quickly found couples are overwhelmed with finding and booking a venue (confusing price lists, headcount minimums or penalties). They are feeling like (some) venues are looking for “gotchas,” and the exclusion list seems to be longer than the inclusion list.

We know how it feels, so we are taking the opportunity to provide a totally different experience. That’s why we offer clear and consistent pricing, lots of convenient inclusions to make your lives easier, all at a central location near hotels, restaurants, and ride sharing. We prioritize the “bones” of the operation through providing resources to help our couples from wedding planning resources, periodic opportunities to re-visit the venue, and an invitation to join our online community where our couples support one another as well.

Last, but not least! We know your wedding flies by quickly, and the day itself is a culmination of months or years of thought and work. We are honored you are taking the time to read this far, and just know, we are dedicated to making this a seamless, informative, FUN process!
