Modern Western Wedding Inspo

This January East Texas wedding was full of fun, love, and laughter.

The modern western wedding theme was both subtle, stunning, and perfectly The Bridges!!!

The Bridges were the perfect couple to pull off this Western wedding theme at Sunset Oaks Wedding Venue! This beautiful couple embraced their Southern roots and went all in on their Cowboy Western wedding.

Western Decor

This Western themed wedding kicked the competition aside when it came to the decorations, colors, and all over vibe. For decorations the Bridges went with all things Western yet not so rustic. They had cow skulls, cowhides, feathers, and pampas grass everywhere. The maroon colors that accented their wedding also complimented the Western theme amazingly. I mean, what says Western more than maroon, denim, hats, and some good ole cowboy boots?

The Dress

If you’re wondering, how can I look elegant and fit a western wedding theme? Look no further!

I think this dress needs a blog of its own, it is just that magnificent! This wedding gown has sparkles, sleeves with the rhinestone buttons, floral patterns, and we can’t forget about the open back. The unique wedding dress is elegant and modest with a touch of modern that is all the rave right now. This gorgeous bride added a western flare with some nice leather boots. The hair, makeup, jewelry, and bouquet brought all the elements together nicely.

The Wedding

B + J had a beautiful wedding ceremony at our outdoor, hilltop chapel. The outdoor space allowed the couple to decorate and tie in the theme that they wanted for their wedding day. They decided to, of course, stick with their western wedding vibe and decorate with a cow skull and white drapery. While we all love an aesthetically pleasing backdrops, what really matters is the nuptials. The joining of these two, truly brought tears to the guests eyes.

We loved have this beautiful couple at Sunset Oaks Venue and allowing us to support them on their special day!
