A Bold, Colorful Wedding Celebration

Maddison & Devin’s September 2025 Wedding at an East Texas Wedding Venue

As an East Texas wedding venue, we’ve hosted weddings since 2020, and one thing we know for sure is this: no two couples celebrate love the same way.

Maddison and Devin’s September 2025 wedding was the kind of day that reminds us why we love what we do. It was joyful, deeply personal, colorful in every sense of the word, and full of moments that felt so them.

From viral-TikTok energy to heartfelt mountain proposals, their wedding wasn’t about following traditions.

It was about creating an experience their guests would talk about long after the last song played.

And honestly? That’s our favorite kind of wedding day to host.

From a Texas Rangers First Date to Forever

Every great wedding day starts with a great love story and Maddison and Devin’s began with baseball, burgers, and a lot of miles.

Their first date took place at a Texas Rangers game in Arlington on July 1st, 2023. Devin showed up with a surprise Rangers hat (an immediate win), the Rangers won the game and went on to win their first World Series that year, and the night ended with hours of conversation at Texas Roadhouse. Just two days later, they were already planning date number two—despite Devin driving six hours round trip just to see her.

Even distance couldn’t slow them down. Long phone calls, late nights, and a connection built over time eventually led them to a mountaintop proposal in the Appalachians, where Devin asked Maddison to marry him with East Tennessee views stretching endlessly behind them. It was emotional, intentional, and perfectly aligned with who they are as a couple.

A Wedding Day Designed by Family, Fueled by Personality

One of the most special things about this wedding? Maddison’s mom handled the décor setup on the wedding day. With our planning support and flexible vendor policies, couples can bring in the people they trust most, and for Maddison, that meant family playing a hands-on role.

The décor reflected Maddison’s bold, creative style:

  • Bright and happy color palettes

  • Playful design choices

  • A layout that felt curated but not overdone

Everything felt intentional yet effortless… exactly the kind of inspiration couples love when planning a wedding that feels personal rather than cookie-cutter.

Pastel Bridesmaids & Mismatched Magic

Instead of choosing one dress style or color, Maddison let her bridesmaids select their own pastel looks, and the result was stunning. Soft pinks, blues, yellows, and lavenders came together in a way that felt cohesive without being overly styled.

This wedding trend is especially popular with the wedding party, because:

  • It allows individuality

  • It photographs beautifully

  • It feels modern, fun, and inclusive

Against the neutral backdrop of the venue, the pastel dresses truly popped—making the wedding party photos feel lively and full of movement.

Is a Content Creator better than a Videographer?

Why a Content Creator Made Sense for This Wedding

Maddison is known for her viral TikTok presence, so it was no surprise she opted to hire a content creator instead of a traditional videographer. This allowed her to:

  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments

  • Get vertical, social-ready clips

  • Share her wedding experience in real time

  • Pre-script the scenes and transitions she wanted for her page

For couples who live online and love sharing their story authentically, this is a growing trend we’re seeing more and more—and our vendor flexibility makes it easy to bring in the right creative team for your vision.

The Phone Booth Guestbook Everyone Loved

One of the most talked-about details of the day was the fully built phone booth with a “leave a message” guestbook. Guests picked up the phone, recorded heartfelt (and hilarious) messages, and left the couple with audio memories they’ll treasure forever.

It was:

  • Interactive

  • Emotional

  • A total crowd favorite

We watched guests line up all night to leave messages, and moments like that are what turn a wedding into an experience

Signature Drinks That Matched the Vib

At the reception, guests were greeted with two signature cocktails:

  • A classic Old Fashioned

  • A refreshing Margarita

Simple, crowd-pleasing, and perfectly on-brand for a couple who wanted their wedding to feel relaxed but elevated. These little choices go a long way in shaping the guest experience—and they photograph beautifully, too.

Cheers to the best day ever!

Private last dance at the end of the wedding reception

Chapel Moments, Open Fields, and a Private Last Dance

The day flowed effortlessly from emotional chapel portraits to golden-hour couple photos in the open field behind the venue. Maddison and Devin also shared a private last dance, soaking in the quiet moment together after a full day of celebration.

These are the kinds of moments we plan for, giving couples space to breathe, reflect, and truly enjoy the day they’ve spent months dreaming about.
