Sunset Oaks is growing our amazing team of kind hearted team members who assist throughout the wedding days. As Venue Team Member at Sunset Oaks Venue, your role will be exciting, varied, and critical to the daily, monthly and annual operations at our venue.
This role is required to have availability Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

Roles:
Venue Host- This role is active in caring for the venue and grounds, preparation and execution of events, and a variety of tasks leading up to each event. Duties include facility cleaning and upkeep, inventory management of decorations, client interface, event setup and tear down, and working with a team of vendors and venue staff. Job Roles vary based on the needs of the business, and shifts may be from early morning (6 am-4pm) or 4pm-1am and anytime in between.
Bartender- A customer service specialist who excels in a fast paced environment, mixing drinks, and operating a POS as well as setup and cleanup duties. Hours are typically between 3pm-Midnight on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is an “A-Player” who always brings their best work and can excel working alongside a close-knit team as well as with new clients every week. He or she can follow standard operating procedures and remain professional as challenges arise. He or she does not wait for others to “make it happen,” but instead takes the initiative to step up and take care of the venue while serving our clients.
He or she is available on weekends, often past 11 p.m., and is flexible with a rotating schedule, available +/- 10 to 20 hrs per week (Less in July, August, and January. More in May-June and Sep-Nov). Availability will be submitted in 1 month advance, and the team works together to cover all the shifts and still work with one another’s time off requests, within reason.
He or she is comfortable with professional, client facing roles, as well as behind the scenes cleaning and moving tables/chairs duties.
